What defines two people being in love? How long they’ve been with each other? How few the amount of disputes they’ve been in? How supportive they are in each others lives? I used to believe that these are few of many binding characteristics of what I sought love to be made of. Today, I’ve realized that love is nothing as predictable as I’ve been raised and accustomed to think. Love is more than a mutual response in two lovers, more than romance, more than human sexuality, and more divine than a labeled emotion. Love is the rawest feeling of wholesomeness in existence. Love is the force that alters ones state of mind, without question or asking of permission, it is the strongest entheogenic existence we are capable of living. You can not see love, you can’t find love, you can only feel it, surrendering yourself to it. It is the pulse that drives you closer, the feeling that you are more alive than you have ever felt. It is the rhythm that draws your soul as close to theirs as possible, leaving your bodies touching. Love is transcendental. It acts as it’s own force, not an impurity consisting of several chemical reactions in our bodies. And I can assure you, it’s not hard to find. You will never find it if you are seeking it. Love has no desired appearance, no boundaries, no expectations, no restraint, no limits. It just goes, and breathes through your skin. When you can accept love for what it is, that is when you’ll find what you are looking for. Fall in love, feel alive.
